Warrio - Warranty Hero

Overview

Warrio is a warranty tracking app developed by Resionic. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Data You Store in the App

Warrio stores warranty information that you enter, including:

Product names, purchase dates, and expiration dates
Prices, store names, serial numbers, and notes
Receipt photos you capture or import

This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud, your data syncs across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. We do not have access to your warranty data.

Camera and Photo Library

Warrio requests camera access to scan receipts and QR codes. Photo library access is used to import existing receipt images. Photos are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework for text recognition (OCR). No images are sent to external servers.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use the following third-party services to improve app quality:

Firebase Analytics (Google) — collects anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects crash reports to help us fix bugs. Crash reports may include device model, OS version, and crash stack traces. No warranty data is included in crash reports.

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud, your warranty data syncs across your devices through Apple's CloudKit. This data is protected by your Apple ID and Apple's privacy policies. We do not operate any sync servers and cannot access your CloudKit data.

Notifications

Warrio can send local notifications to remind you about expiring warranties. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
We do not collect your location
We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not serve ads
We do not track you across apps or websites

Data Retention and Deletion

Your warranty data is stored only on your device (and iCloud if enabled). Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud data, use Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage on your device.

Children's Privacy

Warrio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
